Peter Dale Wimbrow Sr.’s “The Guy in the Glass” prompted me to think about what it means to be at peace with the person in the mirror. For me, that comes through remembering our identity as children of God, giving ourselves grace, trusting in Christ, and having hope in who we are becoming.

The Better Angels of Our Nature
I expected The Better Angels of Our Nature to be an uplifting exploration of human goodness and faith. Instead, I found a rigorous secular argument that challenged me religiously, expanded my understanding of history, and forced me to examine my own reactions. It was not comforting, but it was deeply worthwhile.
